Big projects. Always big projects going on at our house. The latest and most consuming is the flagstone walkway that we have been working on every evening after John gets home from work for 45 minute, or however long we have until it gets too dark to see. This one wouldn't have been such a time consumer if it hadn't been for the BIG trees on either side, and the hundreds of large roots we had to contend with. It makes one contempt also sorts of things. Ever thought about what a tree would say if it could? (this would be a perfect spot to put in a Disney video clip with a talking tree. But since I am have trouble with that particular skill we will skip that one until I get a little more proficient at this blog stuff) Or how much determination it must take to completely envelop a rock, almost become one with it, grow your root into it until you break it apart. Such are the contemplations of hours and hours of clearing the ground for our new flagstone walk way. I'll let you know when it is done, don't hold your breath it may be a while.
